He has held various leadership positions in his previous roles with GE, Standard Chartered Bank and Aditya Birla Finance Limited.

He has spent a decade in Aditya Birla Finance Ltd and was instrumental in setting up various functions like Collections, Fraud Control Unit and entire Retail Business. With his strong leadership experience and business development skills, Nirmal has strengthened channel partnerships, developed strategic alliances and expanded the business presence and distribution points across the country.

Sachin Shah is MD and Head – Strategy, Process, Governance & Subsidiaries for Standard Chartered Bank, India. He is also a member of the Standard Chartered Bank India - Country Management Team.

Sachin has been with Standard Chartered Bank for over 22 years and has held numerous senior positions across Business, Credit & Operations. He has a strong track record in managing complex deals and leading large teams across South Asia markets.

In his current role, Sachin drives the SCB India Strategy along with the South Asia Cluster CEO across various segments and product groups. He also manages Process Effectiveness with a team of six-sigma specialists, responsible for reviewing and simplifying the end-to-end process identified by various units.

As Head of Subsidiaries, he drives the Subsidiary Strategy and Governance and represents SCB on the Board of all the 6 subsidiaries in India.

Sachin has been part of various committees constituted by Indian Banks Association and has a deep understanding of the financial markets and has been instrumental in leading & executing many large and complex transactions in the market across Corporate & Institutional Space.

A career banker with State Bank of India (SBI) spanning 36 years in key leadership roles in India and overseas, with hands on exposure in the areas of Corporate Credit, SME Credit, Retail Branch Banking, Trade Finance, International Banking business, managing key client relationships globally and banking regulatory compliance in multiple jurisdictions.

Leadership experience include seven years of board level experience in India and abroad.

Retired from SBI in January 2019 as Deputy Managing Director after being the head of International Banking Group for four years from 2015 to 2019.

In that role was responsible for SBI’s international business and strategy, overseeing a balance sheet of USD 55 bn spread across 35 countries.

Chaired the boards of five overseas subsidiaries of SBI in advanced regulatory jurisdictions including the USA, Canada and UK in addition to driving strategic business development and risk management in multiple jurisdictions overseas.

Prior to 2015, was the Regional Head of SBI for West Asia and North Africa based out of Dubai. Post superannuation from SBI, engaged as Independent Director on the boards of several financial institutions including a listed commercial bank. Other engagements include special invitee to the HR Committee of the Board of Central Bank of India and Honorary Senior Advisor for International Banking to IFSCA Gandhinagar.

Mr. Siddhartha Sengupta holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Chemistry and Masters in Business Administration from a leading Business School in India (XLRI, Jamshedpur).

Neils professional career spans over 29 years in the Indian Financial Sector with stints in NBFC’s, a Foreign and Indian Bank.

He has extensive exposure in Credit Underwriting , Credit Policy, Fraud and Risk Control and Collections His core strength is in the area of Credit Underwriting, Policy and Fraud and Risk Control, of Consumer Banking Products, Retail Agriculture  Products, Commercial Equipment Products, and Dealer Financing. .i.e.  Credit Cards, Installment Loan Products such as Auto, Two Wheelers, Commercial Vehicles, Construction Equipment, Personal Loans, Business Loans , Professional Credit Loans, Medical Equipment Finance, Loan Against Shares, Gold,  LAP, Tractor, Agriculture lending to farmers (Kissan Gold Card),  Self Help Groups as well as funding to dealers and corporates in the transportation business (Auto, Two wheelers, Construction Equipment, Commercial Vehicles, Tractors ).

His last Assignment was with HDFC Bank, where he was Group Head - Underwriting and Risk Intelligence and Control, and part  of the Core Leadership Team which started the Cards, Agriculture Lending, Gold Loan, Tractor, Self Help Group and the Dealer Funding  business of the bank till March 31st, 2019.

Neil was also a member of the Mastercard Asia Pacific Fraud Advisory Council.

Mr. Neil has done his Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) from the University of Mumbai, and MS in Mechanical Engineering as well as MBA from the University of Massachusetts (UMASS) Amherst, United States.

Giriraj has been with the Standard Chartered Group since 2012. He joined Standard Chartered Capital Limited as CFO in Dec 2023 and oversees Finance & Treasury.

Giriraj is a committed and result focused leader with end-to-end experience across strategy building, treasury, budgeting, performance analytics, expense management, financial accounting & reporting, process simplification and MI automation.

His last stint with Standard Chartered Bank, India was as Senior Manager - CCIB Performance Management.

Managed various aspects of risk management including developing frameworks for Risk Approval, Early Warning System and Credit policy along with the experience of managing credit risks in corporate banking and retail mortgages.

Also set up and managed Credit Mid office, Credit & Portfolio Monitoring, Property valuations and Risk Containment units.

Previously, I was with L&T Finance as Head Risk Real Estate Finance, & Head Credit Real Estate & Retail Mortgages.

Prior to that I have handled role of Head Risk for CRE business in SCB, Head of Credit and Monitoring in ICICI Bank Real Estate, various roles in credit and business in Retail Mortgages in ICICI Bank.

Joined Standard Chartered Capital Limited in November 2022. Previously was part of HSBC Group handling different profiles in Compliance like Retail Advisory, Investigations, Heading NBFC Compliance.

Richa Shah is a qualified Company Secretary and Lawyer with over 12 years of experience in Company Secretarial and Compliance activities.

Richa is associated with SC Capital since January 2021. Prior to joining SC Capital, Richa has worked with KKR & Co. Inc., Bharti AXA General Insurance Limited and TMF Services India Private Limited.

During her tenure of 7.5 years with TMF Services India Private Limited she was heading the Company Secretarial and Compliance portfolio of 35+ foreign subsidiaries.

Her core areas of competence are in Companies Act, 2013, NBFC Compliance, SEBI Laws and FEMA Regulations.
